Virtual Zoo. CD Cristal Studio Forum. 2001.

Studio Forum, based in Annecy, organized in 2001 a collective and collaborative project on the Internet, the Virtual Zoo. The instruction was to create a short piece, a more or less rich sound painting inspired by a wild or domestic animal, which could be real or imaginary… Denis Dufour, in collaboration with Roberto Kenofsky, portrays the Dibdak, a strange animal kept in captivity by a very serious scientist who, like a living dictionary, gives us its multiple characteristics. The Dibdak, imagined by the writer Marc Jaffeux, seems to be an intelligent little mammal. But the cries of the poor beast prevent us from grasping the full meaning of what the voice tells us, remaining indifferent to his complaints, all of this in a clinical laboratory atmosphere, which does not bode well for his future…
